About Our Pharmacy
Riggins Pharmacy and Christian bookstore is owned and operated by Jerry and Donna Riggins. Both graduated from the University of Georgia, College of Pharmacy. They have four children, three sons and one daughter. While Jerry was born and raised in Jesup, Ga, Donna is a native of Lavonia and the daughter of Wilton “Punk” and Jackie Morgan. They opened Riggins Pharmacy over 20 years ago and enjoy living in and serving the community of Lavonia. Their daughter, Katie Riggins Ferguson, recently joined their team as a pharmacist. She also graduated from the University of Georgia, College of Pharmacy and is proud to be working back in her hometown. Meet Our Pharmacists
Jerry Riggins, RPh
Jerry Graduated from University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in 1978 and has been practicing pharmacy in Lavonia as the owner of Riggins Pharmacy since 1997. He enjoys getting to know his customers and fishing on Lake Hartwell.
Donna Morgan Riggins, RPh
Donna graduated from University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in 1978 and has been practicing pharmacy in Lavonia as the owner of Riggins Pharmacy since 1997. She enjoys working in the drug store and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Katie Riggins Ferguson, PharmD
Katie graduated from University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in 2017. She has enjoyed working at the pharmacy in between school classes and now as a full time pharmacist. She enjoys using what she learned in pharmacy school to help patients manage their medications and is excited, along with her husband Tony, to welcome their first child in June 2019.
